Gary J. Pieples

Gary Pieples is a Teaching Professor Emeritus at the Syracuse University College of Law, where he taught and was a legal clinic director from 2006 to 2024. Prior to coming to SU, Professor Pieples was a Senior Attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Cincinnati, where his practice focused on housing issues, including landlord-tenant law and foreclosure defense. Professor Pieples also served as a judicial law clerk for Senior District Judge S. Arthur Spiegel. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Maurer School of Law at Indiana University.
