Professor Andrew Greenberg began in private law practice in Syracuse in 1990. He has significant experience in civil rights Section 1983 actions, primarily involving police misconduct. He also had a significant focus on plaintiff’s personal injury actions. He has litigated cases in state and federal court throughout upstate New York.

His general practice experience involved criminal litigation, real estate transactions and litigation, estate matters including litigation, as well as experience in the family courts of Central New York. He has done extensive work representing children as a law guardian in matters including juvenile delinquency, persons in need of supervision, abuse and neglect, and custody.

Greenberg was also the associate director of the Lockerbie Trial Families Project at Syracuse University College of Law.

Greenberg has a B.A. from Bates College and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law.
