Patrick Marris joins Syracuse Law as a Visiting Teaching Professor. He will teach Legal Communications & Research and Contracts.

Prior to joining the College of Law, Marris worked as a litigator at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. He also clerked for the Hon. Brenda K. Sannes of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Marris received a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an editor of the Columbia Law Review, and a B.A. in mathematics, cum laude, from Hamilton College, where he was a Hans H. Schambach Scholar.

Marris is admitted to the New York Bar.
