Professor Sharon A. McAuliffe G’79, L’92 serves as Of Counsel to Bousquet Holstein PLLC. Her primary practice areas are ERISA/employee benefits and estates and trusts.

For over 20 years, McAuliffe has advised clients on the establishment and maintenance of qualified retirement plans and other employee benefit plans and programs. She represents clients in connection with matters before the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor, and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. McAuliffe also assists clients in all aspects of the estate planning process, with particular expertise in the area of estate planning for retirement benefits.

Prior to obtaining her law degree, McAuliffe was the Director of Employee Benefits for Green & Seifter, Certified Public Accountants, PLLC, where she provided plan compliance and recordkeeping services for qualified retirement plans.

McAuliffe earned a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame.

McAuliffe is a frequent lecturer for bar associations and other professional organizations. She is actively involved in the community, serving on several local boards of directors.
