Access Policy
First year Law students receive Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg Law IDs in their first semester. Student IDs are valid for the rest of the student’s career at the College of Law.
The sharing of Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg Law passwords with others violates our licensing agreements with these services. Restrictions on the use of passwords are explained in the contract which students enter into with these vendors when they activate their accounts
For access and use questions, students should see the Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg Law student representatives who hold office hours throughout the academic year. Please see the Law Library Reference Desk for information on their schedules. Questions can also be directed to the following customer service lines:
- Bloomberg Law: 1-888-560-2529
- Lexis: 1-800-543-6862
- Westlaw: 1-800-Westlaw
