Archives & Special Collections

The Law Library maintains a Special Collections department which includes the College of Law Archives.

Hassett Case in the Law Library Special Collections room.

Some photographs and documents from the College of Law Archives have been digitized as part of NewYorkHeritage.org, a collaborative project of New York’s Reference and Research Library Resources Councils (NY3Rs).  Please visit the Syracuse University College of Law digital collection at New York Heritage to view this collection.

The Judge, a historic publication by the students of the Syracuse College of Law, has also been digitized and made available on the New York Historical Newspapers website. These digitized resources are just a small part of our Archives and Special Collections.

The College of Law has published 100 Years, a retrospective booklet of the school’s first 100 years from 1895 to 1995.

Please contact Sidney Sinclair (salanier@syr.edu) with any questions about the history of the College of Law, its students, staff, or alumni.
