Author Bjarne Tellmann Examines How Artificial Intelligence is Reshaping the Legal Profession

Bjarne Tellmann spoke at the College of Law on November 4 about how Artificial Intelligence is changing law firms, their clients, and the future of legal work, drawing on his book, “Law in the Era of AI: Clients, Firms, and the Future of the Legal Industry.”

Tellmann, CEO of FjordStream Advisors and former chief legal officer at Haleon and Pearson, is a leading scholar on AI’s impact on legal institutions and currently teaches at Yale Law School. He traced how law firm structures have evolved and which historical events pushed the industry to change. He then explained how AI is transforming businesses across sectors and what that means for the law firms and lawyers that serve them.
