Justice Alberto Balazeiro of Brazil’s Superior Labor and Employment Court presented two papers at the College of Law and spoke to Professor Antonio Gidi’s classes.
In a series of academic lectures and classroom presentations, he presented his postdoctoral research, “Structural Injunctions in Employment Law,” alongside his paper, “Unconventional State of Affairs”. Balazeiro is the former attorney general for labor affairs in Brazil and previously held significant labor-related governmental roles. He’s also written several law review articles and books on labor law and is a law professor at IESB Law School. Balazeiro received his law degree from the Catholic University of Salvador.
