Syracuse Law Celebrates Record-Breaking Participation at 2026 Syracuse Law Career Expo

The Syracuse University College of Law Office of Career Services hosted its 4th annual Syracuse Law Career Expo on October 23rd, welcoming a record number of employers, alumni, and students to Dineen Hall for an afternoon of professional connections, career exploration, and recruiting opportunities.

This year's Expo featured 67 employers, 44 alumni representatives, and more than 250 student participants, marking the largest level of employer and alumni participation in the event's history. The strong turnout reflected the continued commitment of the legal community to supporting Syracuse Law students and creating meaningful pathways into the profession.

Law firms, government agencies, public interest organizations, businesses, and other legal vendors participated in the Expo. Students had the opportunity to introduce themselves to recruiters and practicing attorneys, ask questions about different career paths, learn about employment opportunities, and begin building relationships that can continue well beyond the Expo.

A particularly meaningful feature of this year's event was the significant alumni presence. The Expo highlighted the strength of the Syracuse Law network and the important role graduates play in supporting the next generation of attorneys. In collaboration with the Office of Advancement and External Affairs, the College also hosted an alumni lunch before the Expo, providing an opportunity for graduates to reconnect with one another ahead of the afternoon's activities. These connections are an important part of the College's broader commitment to career development and student success.

That commitment is reflected in the recent employment outcomes. The College of Law's Class of 2025 achieved a 97.6% employment rate, with graduates employed or enrolled in an advanced degree program within 10 months of graduation. The result reflects the dedication of students, the work of the Office of Career Services, and the ongoing support of employers, alumni, and the broader Syracuse Law community.
