This fall, Syracuse University College of Law welcomes a new class into its on-campus J.D. program. Many are beginning their legal education directly after their undergraduate studies, while others bring professional experience, military service, or community leadership with them to the classroom. United by a shared commitment to pursuing law as a way to create impact, they bring fresh perspective to what it means to study and practice law.
Our new J.D. students came to Dineen Hall in August for orientation week, joining the Syracuse Law community ahead of their first year of coursework.

We caught up with a few members of the incoming on-campus J.D. class to hear, in their own words, what brought them to law school and where they hope it takes them.
