Syracuse Law Annual Fund
Whether you are a loyal annual contributor, or you are thinking about making your first donation to the College of Law, your support matters.
Annual gifts to the College of Law will have a meaningful and direct impact on our students’ legal education. Annual gifts are flexible and immediately available, allowing us to allocate those resources to the College’s most pressing needs. Not only that, your annual gift enables us to provide scholarship to our students, increase faculty support and take advantage of student programmatic opportunities.
Monthly Gifts
One way to make a larger annual or campaign gift while not significantly impacting your budget is to make a monthly gift. Automatic deductions provide an easy method to donate monthly (debited at the end of each month).

Gifts of Stock
Making gifts of appreciated securities need not be complicated. Gifts of stock, mutual funds or cash wire transfers are handled on an individual basis. To learn more, email Jodi Ralston at jralston@syr.edu or call 315.443.1718.
Bequests & Planned Gifts
How can we help you create your legacy at the College of Law?
There are many ways to make an immediate or long-term impact through your gift, and we are happy to be a resource and customize a giving plan that suits you.
Through careful planning, a donor may be able to make a sizable contribution to the College of Law through a bequest or living trust; by designating the College of Law as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA, or other retirement plan; or by means of a “life income gift”—an annuity or trust—that can provide a donor with considerable tax savings currently as well as an income for life.
Through planned giving you can …
- Earn income, pay fewer taxes, and secure your retirement
- Enhance your net estate
- Create a personal legacy
- Support your alma mater and generations of law students to come
