Registration & MySlice

MySlice

MySlice is the official service portal for academic, financial, employment, and administrative matters at Syracuse University. Students can register for classes, view grades, pay Bursar bills, select housing and meal plans, and more.

More information and helpful tips can be found on the Syracuse University IT Help Answers page.

Registration

College of Law Registration takes place in April for Summer and Fall terms, and in November for Spring terms. Students are notified of their enrollment appointments in MySlice along with helpful tips approximately two weeks prior to the start of each registration period.

Account Holds and Registration – Students with account holds will not be permitted to complete the registration process until the hold has been cleared. Students are required to contact the office that set the hold – the College of Law Registrar’s Office cannot release holds that were set by any other office.

Class Search – Classes can be found on MySlice, including any updates prior to a given term. Students will be trained to access Class Search as it is a crucial step in developing a class schedule.

Waitlist Procedure – Adding yourself to a waitlist for a closed course during the registration process is an option for a majority of Law courses. Once you are on a waitlist for a class, you will receive an email from the Registrar’s Office if/when a seat becomes available for you. The email will offer you a seat and will give you the opportunity to adjust your schedule if necessary.  Students should not contact the instructor regarding their position on the waitlist or to request that a seat be made available.
