On-Campus J.D. Orientation

New Student Orientation is a blend of informative presentations, programs, events, and activities designed to help first-year law students acclimate to Syracuse Law. It’s an educational, exciting, and fun time that allows students the opportunity to get to know the College of Law, Syracuse University, and one another. All portions of the program are mandatory (unless otherwise noted on the schedule).

  • All New Student Orientation sessions are mandatory. You must wear professional attire on Thursday for headshot photos and Convocation. Family and friends are invited to attend Convocation.
  • SUID cards are delivered to the College of Law in daily batches. Check with staff at the Orientation Information Table if you are waiting for your card.
