Syracuse University College of Law and the First Generation Law Students Association (FGLSA) are hosting an intercollegiate symposium at Dineen Hall in Syracuse, NY. Through the symposium, featured speakers will facilitate the sharing of resources and knowledge that attendees can take back to their respective schools and incorporate into their student organizations to make their communities more inclusive and accessible for students who are the first in their families to attend law school.
Featured speakers include Kimberly Wolenberg (Helix Bar Review by AccessLex, Managing Director) Morgan Cutright (AccessLex Institute, Regional Director), Yan Bennett (Princeton University, Assistant Director for the Center on Contemporary China), and more.
Programming will consist of some open dialogue sessions, small group activities, and a networking luncheon and dinner.
We are waiving the attendance fee for up to four guests from invited schools and for students of Syracuse University College of Law. Programming will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will conclude at 5:45, followed by a networking dinner.
