Richard S. Risman

Professor Risman has taught at law schools for more than 30 years, first with the Albany Law School as a Legal Skills Professor, and at the College of Law.

He teaches Legal Communication and Research I, II, and III, LL.M. courses, an upper-level bar passage course, and in the Orange Edge pre-1L courses.  He has taught his courses overseas as well. 

He has coached numerous moot court teams, including the College of Law’s award-winning National Moot Court Competition team.

He is admitted to practice in New York and Federal courts.
