Most recently she was a faculty member at the University of Bialystok Faculty of Law, in Bialystok, Poland where she taught Commercial Law, International Commercial Law, Insolvency and Arbitration, Mediation, and Negotiation.

Cudowska has published and presented frequently in Europe and the United States on arbitration, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), mediation, family law, and international law.

She was a Visiting Scholar at Syracuse University College of Law from August 2022 to May 2023 where she researched disability rights, human rights, and dispute resolution under the guidance of Professor Cora True-Frost. While at Syracuse Law, Cudowska researched climate change, national security law, and international relations. In addition, she was a Polish American Kościuszko Foundation Research Fellow at Michigan State University College of Law in 2021. Cudowska is a licensed civil facilitative mediator in Michigan where she practices dispute resolution with Southeastern Dispute Resolution Services, a community dispute resolution center in Jackson, MI.

Cudowska received her Ph.D. (thesis: Arbitrability of Insolvency Disputes – A Comparative Analysis) and a Postgraduate Degree in Legal Translation from the University of Bialystok Faculty of Law and an LL.M. in the American Legal System from Michigan State University College of Law.
