Gary Pieples has been a Teaching Professor at the Syracuse University College of Law since 2006 as well as Director of the Criminal Defense Clinic. Under his supervision, student attorneys in the SACC handle a variety of consumer related matters including real estate fraud, debt collection and automobile fraud. Prior to coming to SU, Professor Pieples was a Senior Attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Cincinnati where his practice focused on housing issues including landlord-tenant law and foreclosure defense. Professor Pieples also served as a judicial law clerk for Senior District Judge S. Arthur Spiegel. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Maurer School of Law at Indiana University.
