Laura G. Lape

Professor Laura Lape received her J.D. with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She practiced as an associate in the probate department at a leading Boston law firm before beginning her teaching career. She taught at Temple University and at UNC at Chapel Hill before coming to Syracuse.

Lape researches and writes on copyright law and teaches copyright, property, and intellectual property.
