Raymond Lia

Ray Lia is an adjunct professor at the College of Law’s Innovation Law Center.  He has worked 44 years as a Mechanical/Optical Engineer for the Welch Allyn Company (now Baxter) designing and innovating a variety of medical and industrial products. He has received four R&D 100 awards and numerous other recognitions. Lia has accumulated over 110 patents during his career.

Lia earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical and aerospace Engineering from Cornell University. He holds a Professional Engineering License in New York State.
