Associate Teaching Professor
Courtney Abbott Hill is an Associate Teaching Professor at the College of Law. Previously, Abbott Hill was the Associate Director of Student Affairs for Academic and Bar Support, responsible for helping Syracuse Law students reach their full academic potential with an emphasis on bar exam preparation. Abbott Hill has designed and implemented programming focused on academic success for students throughout their law school careers, and she taught a third-year law seminar. After graduation from the College of Law, she served as a Court Attorney with the New York State Appellate Division, Fourth Department, before transitioning to a career focused on law student success as a regional director with a national bar review provider.
Abbott Hill earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Syracuse in 2009, where she was Managing Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and a member of the Justinian Honor Society and the Order of the Coif.
