Richard J. Paul teaches International Business Transactions. He is Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Lockheed Martin Corporation and oversees the Corporation’s International, Government Contracts, and Global Supply Chain Legal functions. He’s an experienced international lawyer who has worked on business matters in more than 40 different countries. His main areas of practice are International Contract Law and Anti-Corruption Compliance.
He worked for 20 years in the firm now known as Barclay Damon in Syracuse, NY. Starting in 2011, he began working in-house as General Counsel Director for International Law at Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems Business Area. In 2018, he was promoted to Vice President and General Counsel for Lockheed Martin International.
Paul graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 1990 and taught International Business Transactions at the College of Law from 2012 – 2017.
